life insurance policy

an annual or bi-annual schedule to make sure that that insurance still meets
the goals they have entrusted to that policy.
An annual review of
client finances is a necessity, not just for making sure that insurance
coverage matches or exceeds the value of their home, but because
finances are dynamic ... needs and goals change ... new savings, investment, and
insurance products become available ... family incomes increase, children are
born, others are off to college ... estates increase, jobs change and so much
more. Regular annual reviews
not only provide your clients with a much-needed opportunity to verify that past
financial decisions are still moving them in the direction of their goals.
And if they discover that time has changed that ... you are there to help them take the steps needed
to get back on track!
What are a few of the things
you should be looking for?
Your Client's need for life insurance may
have increased or decreased.
Their family or business situations may have changed.
Interest, Dividends, or investments may have declined.
Your
client's health may have improved since policy issue giving them money
saving opportunities
Your
Client's health may have declined making it vital to keep their current
policy in force and perhaps it might be the time to discuss the
purchase of additional coverage now ... while they still can.
Loan
or withdrawals may have affected policy performance.
Premiums may not have been paid as the client planned.
Premiums on term insurance may have increased making term conversion very
attractive right now.
Other issues may have come up that would warrant a full review.
THE ANNUAL REVIEW IS A
PROCESS
The annual client
financial review process can be fairly simple one if you use the forms
provided in this Business Builder System and then turn them into your own
system of periodically contacting your existing base of clients to see if
anything has changed that warrants a visit. You will need a computer, some
contact management software and just a bit of dedication to put this system
in place for you.
It may seem old
fashioned in this lightning fast world of the internet, but a hand written
thank you card, birthday card, or hand signed letter discussing the
importance of an annual financial review
still works as well (or better)
that fax-blasting or eMail-blasting out thousands of generic marketing
pieces. You get these all the time. Which letters do you open first
those

They dont need to actually be hand addressed
there are many hand
written fonts on most computers today.
WHERE TO START
Comprehensive listings
of your current clients can be obtained from your insurance carriers
headquarters
they can simply allow you to pull it up on their system or
they can print you out a report and eMail or mail it to you for your
periodic review process.
WHAT TO DO
When you have the list
you can begin by sending out an annual review letter. Also to consider is sending them a
birthday card and other occasional letters that randomly discuss
term conversions, tax situations or other topics. Gather your favorite
articles make copies and put a post it note on them sending them to your
clients from time to time.
